It was the intention of Joseph Pilates that his exercise programme should be practiced on a daily basis. Classical Pilates follows a prescribed order of exercises which balance and counter-balance one another. Session by session you will progress in safety through the basic movements and add in exercises which create more challenges to the body. This means that in each workout, wherever you are in the country, you will know what comes next. Students are encouraged to practice at home or attend sessions 2-3 times a week. In a Classical Pilates class our Teachers teach, observe, correct and encourage. They may demonstrate an exercise or key concept to assist learning but they do not work out in the class.
