Sandra Coull

In 2004 Sandra was a professional dog walker whose hobbies included cycling, indoor climbing and hill walking. Back pain started to curtail these activities and she began Pilates in an attempt to improve spinal flexibility and strength.  Amazed at her progress, she was inspired to study the Classical Pilates method by training as a teacher and is now a Level 2- Certified Corpus Pilates Teacher. The continuing enthusiasm of her students convinces her that this system can benefit almost anybody, from athletically challenged to the super-fit!

Diane Craig

The combination of poor posture, working as an administrator and a mobile beauty therapist resulted in rounded shoulders, aching lower back and tight hamstrings. Diane decided to do something about it. In January 2006 Diane started matclass twice a week and a weekly private lesson on the Reformer. Inspired by the results in her own body Diane trained as a teacher and has attained Corpus Pilates Matwork Level 2. She loves seeing the improvement in her students and enjoys every minute of teaching Pilates.

Dawn Farrant

Since discovering Pilates in 2007 Dawn found an exercise system that she loves.  It has increased her flexibility, balance, improved her posture and has  given her what most women want, a flat stomach, taut bottom, and toned arms and thighs . Dawn has completed teacher training at Classical Pilates UK to Foundation and Level 1 Matwork and hopes to teach at higher levels in the future. She is continuing her personal training on the reformer and Cadillac.

Anna Young

Anna originally trained in Fine Art and holds a Masters in Sculpture from Edinburgh College of Art. In 2007 Anna began taking Pilates classes at Classical Pilates UK to help build up her core strength and improve posture.  She was amazed at how effective and challenging the exercises were and was keen to learn more.  In 2009 Anna qualified as a Corpus Pilates Level 1 Matwork teacher and her observation skills were noted. She is keen to develop her training to comprehensive certification.

Karen Dow

After 2 years as a student in Classical Pilates Karen attained a Corpus Pilates Level 1 matwork certification in 2009 and her enthusiasm both as a Teacher and for personal practice continues to grow. In addition to her Classical Pilates qualification, Karen holds a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy. Her combined skills can be applied to a wide range of clients from the performance athlete to orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.
